节水型灌区建设是水资源优化配置直接有效的途径。本文通过介绍石堡川灌区工程和水资源的现状，分析水资源供需平衡对节水型灌区建设的重要性，探索灌区工程节水改造内容和实施后的效益，以此为同类灌区节水改造提供参考。

The construction of water-saving irrigation area is a direct and efficient approach of optimal allocation of water re-sources .This paper describes Shibaochuan irrigation engineering and present situation of water resources ,analyses the impor-tance of supply and demand balance of water resources in water-saving irrigation area ,and explores benefit after the implemen-tation of water-saving project ,so as to provide reference .
