中咱地块是西南三江成矿带重要成矿单元，四川巴塘核桃坪铅锌矿位于中咱地块东侧的巴塘-党结真拉铜多金属成矿远景区内。通过普查评价，对矿区区域成矿背景、矿床地质特征、化探异常和控矿条件的分析研究，认为该矿床具有较好的找矿前景，其深部成矿条件较好，可能存在一定规模的铅锌矿体。

The Hetaoping Pb-Zn deposit is located in the Batang-Dangjiezhenla polymetallic metallogenic zone in the Zongza landmass of the Jinsha-Lancang-Nujiang Rivers metallogenic belt. This paper deals with its prospecting potential based on regional geological setting, geological features, geochemical anomalies and ore control factors.
