分析了CO-OFDM (相干光正交频分复用)系统中各个子载波之间的序列相关性对系统性能的影响，并提出了使用SLM (选择映射)法结合限幅算法来降低CO-OFDM各个子载波之间的序列相关性，抑制系统中 FWM(四波混频)效应导致的损伤，以提高CO-OFDM系统性能。理论分析和仿真结果表明，该方法在误码率为10-3的情况下，与SLM法和限幅算法相比，灵敏度分别提高约1.8和3.4 dB。

On the basis of analyzing the effects of the serial correlation among the subcarriers of the CO-OFDM system on its performances,this paper proposes a new approach,in which the SeLected Mapping (SLM)method and the clipping method are combined.This approach optimizes the subcarrier serial correlation and mitigates the Four-Wave Mixing (FWM)effects that are mainly dependent on the former,thus improving the system performance.Theoretical analysis and MATLAB simula-tion results show that compared with SLM and clipping methods,this approach improves the sensitivity by about 1 .8 and 3.4 dB respectively at the BER of ~ 10-3 .
