This paper discusses the structures and organization in practical courses of Electrical Circuits and Electronics Technology in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Minnesota (UMN) in the U .S .The environment and facilities of the electrical and electronics laboratories at UMN are analyzed .The characteristics of teaching systems ,experiment settings ,teaching organization and evaluation of experiments are put forward .Compared with relative lab courses in China ,the enlightenment to teaching in the lab courses of electrical and electronics technology in China’s engineering universities can be illustrated from analyses .
