力学课程设置的实验数量有限，需要更多实验和创新学习活动，数值实验可作为实体实验的补充。数值实验将力学问题用图像或动画形象地表示出来，达到研究或演示的目的，这将改善传统教学模式，提升学习兴趣与主动性，并且有很好的经济性。商用有限元分析软件具有良好的分析计算功能和可视化的前后处理功能，其可视化的计算结果对理解材料力学的一些基本概念很有帮助。该实验系统用VB开发简便的前处理界面，封装调用ANSYS有限元分析软件，学生无需了解ANSYS软件的使用方法即可利用其分析结果演示一些材料力学的基本概念。系统具有方便简捷的Windows交互界面，通过VB参数化输入界面，用参数化设计语言（APDL）编写模型计算程序，使用ANSYS的前后处理功能和计算功能，对材料力学中的一些问题和基本概念进行有限元求解，显示的结果可加深学生对材料力学概念的理解，有助于激发学生学习的热情和积极性，更快速、牢固地掌握材料力学的基本概念和基础知识。

Since there are short of traditional experiments in the contemporary material mechanics course , numerical simulation experiments act as complement of traditional ones to activate students ’ interests and creativities .Numerical simulation experiments show great advantages over traditional ones in the ways of illustration through images and animations to study and display the mechanical process .Moreover it is more economic than entity experiments .The commercial used finite element analysis software provides visualized pre-post processing ,analysis and computing solver to help students to understand basic concepts of material mechanics .The numerical simulation experiment system with convenient developed interface and encapsulation of ANSYS ,makes users who have no idea about using ANSYS simulate the important phenomenon in material mechanics course .The system provides Windows dialog box .Through using the parametric inputting interface of VB ,the program using APDL and the pre-post processing ,calculation module of ANSYS ,the basic concept of material mechanics and basic mechanics problems could be simulated . Visualization results enable the students to deepen understanding and to stimulate the students’ enthusiasm for learning material mechanics , and they are helpful for the students to firmly and quickly master knowledge of it .
