20世纪90年代末，我国工业化和城市化进程开始加速，城郊农村土地被征用的力度随之加大。在政府整体迁移的安置政策主导下，大批失地农民经历了从村落散居到小区聚居，从乡土村民到城市居民的转变历程。“过渡型社区”的生成在这场农民居住条件、生活方式乃至身份发生巨变的历史性过程中，发挥了至关重要的作用。科学合理地规划“过渡型社区”居民生活空间直接关系着社会公共服务均等化的完善、社会秩序的稳定以及社会结构的平衡，但在观念和实践上还存在着诸多的问题与不足，有赖于通过社区规划和实践的创新加以完善和优化。

Since 1990's, China's industrialization and urbanization accelerates, the strength of suburban rural land requisition begun to increase. In the whole migration resettlement policy leading, a large number of landless farmers experienced the process from village in scattered to street inhabit, and the transformation from local villagers to urban citizens. The appearance of "Transitional community" played a very important role in the the historical upheaval process of farmers' living conditions, life style and identity. Scientific and reasonable planning of "transitional community residents living space is directly related to the social equal of public services, the stability of social order and the balance of social structure,but there are still many problems and deficiencies in concept and practice , which depend on through the innovation of community planning and practice to improve and optimize.
