A single-direction hot tensile fixture for plate sheet was designed ,which could be utilized in electron DNS200 universal tensile tester .The structure composition and working principle of the fixture were also recommended in detail .Using magnesium alloy plate sheet ,single-direction hot tensile test was conducted to verify the applicability and availability of the new designed fixture . The result shows that the fixture can be applied to solve the problem of deformation in chuck part of the plate sample ,reduce the hot tensile deformation of the chuck part and improve the measuring accuracy of the tester .
