指出了行道树的种类并不要求很多，东莞市只要坚持种好大型速生骨干树种10～20种就十分成功了。行道树种的选择要坚持适地适树、粗生、速生、高大、通透、低养护、适应性广、高抗性等原则，榕类、羊蹄甲类、芒果类等被列为首推树种。以安全设计、道路种植要求、布置类型及开花类行道树等分析了行道树绿带设计要点；以树槽式、树池式、株距、干高与胸径等探讨了行道树种植形式。

Street tree belongs to the planting type w hich is largely used in road greening but many has the poor site conditions .Indeed ,we do not need many different varieties of street trees .As long as we persist in adopting and planting well 10 to 20 species of fast -growing ,large street trees in Dongguan ,we will be very successful .The selecting guidelines for the street tree species include the most appropriate tree species ,suit-able environment ,fast grow th ,high trunk ,good sight ,low maintenance ,and high resistance .Among many different street tree species ,Ficus、Bauhinia and Mangifera etc .are the best .The main points of designing street tree belt should be clarified with safety design ,road planting request ,arrangement type ,flowering street trees and so on .T he planting types of the street trees should indicate tree -belt ,tree-pit ,tree space , trunk height and trunk diameter .
