21世纪是一个数字化的时代,大量信息被采集、记录下来。特别是企业在逐步完善企业信息化后,形成了很多面向事务处理的信息系统。比如,ERP系统、CRM系统、SCM系统等。这些信息系统记录的业务流程数据由于相互隔离,很难为管理层提供数据支持,辅助决策。基于数据仓库技术的商务智能应用打破了这种“信息孤岛”的限制,使得宝贵的历史数据变成了知识的“源泉”,为决策层提供了一个方便的数据分析与决策平台。主要从帮助中小企业在有限的条件下实施商务智能的角度,来探讨商务智能系统的功能架构和理论方法。并通过一个零售行业奖金计算分析的案例阐述商务智能实施过程。

The 21st century is a digital age , a large number of information are collected and recorded .In particular, when the enterprises have gradually improved the corporation informatisation , there emerge quite a few transaction processing-oriented information systems .For example, the ERP, the CRM, and the SCM, etc.Since to be mutually isolated , the business process data of these information system records can hardly provide the data support for managerial teams and for assisted decision-making.The business intelligence applications based on data warehouse technology breaks the limitations of “information silo”, which makes the valuable historical data become the “source” of knowledge , and provides a convenient data analysis and decision-making platform for the board of company .In this paper , with the point of view of helping the SMEs to implement business intelligence under limited conditions , we explore the functional architecture of the business intelligence systems and their theoretical methods .We also use a case of bonus calculation analysis from retail sector to illustrate the implementation process of business intelligence .
