With the development and extensive use of Internet, there are more and more cyber sources available as far as English listening teaching is concerned. By focusing on VOA special English, this paper aims to first illustrate its features and then to ana-lyze how to make good use of it in listening practice for non-English majors so that they can improve their listening and other skills as well.
