The five-year higher vocational education realizes the organic linking of secondary vocational education and higher vocational education. It is an important form of China's higher vocational education. The realization of its education goal depends on the advanced teaching ideas and effective methods of teaching. Among them, the action-oriented teaching method is an effective mode to cultivate students' comprehensive ability and promote quality-oriented education in an all-round way. This article discusses the practice of action-oriented teaching method from the application conditions, application orientation and specific teaching methods, in order to improve students' professional quality and deliver professional technical personnel for local economic construction in the process of rich and colorful teaching.
