The paper elaborates on problems in monitoring of operating lines in terms of dispatcher main substation maintenance personnel as well as current operation monitoring software. The line operation monitor-ing software based on HighSoon real-time database is designed and developed, and the design idea, main functions of the software are introduced in detail. The application of the software enriches the present moni-toring means and achieves favorable effectiveness.
