Protecting the interests of the data subject is the core of the legislation on credit. The paper conducts a comprehensive review of the international legislation of personal data protection and makes a discussion on the personal data protection system in EU and US. Through learning from international experience and practices, this paper pro-vides reference for the legislation on protecting personal data and information in our country.
