使用RCA指数来测度1985-2011年中国农业竞争力，结果表明，中国农业竞争力一直呈现出下降趋势。以波特的钻石模型为基本框架，对中国农业竞争力的各个影响因素进行回归分析，来实证检验各自的作用方向及幅度。结果表明：第一，中国农业竞争力逐年下降的原因主要在于国内因素，而非国际竞争所致；第二，国内因素如农业知识产权保护强度、农业财政投入指数、人均农产品消费指数和中国化肥使用指标都对中国农业竞争力的提升有负向抑制作用。其中，化肥使用量指标的负向抑制作用明显大于其他3个指标。从具体数值来看，上述4个指数每增加1%，中国农业竞争力就分别下降0.0707，1.3066、0.0015和7.3784个百分点。

Adopting RCA index to evaluate the agricultural competitiveness of China from 1985 to 2011,the paper concludes that Chinese agricultural competiveness has been descended all the time. Then employing Michal Por-ter’s Diamond Model as basic framework to do regression analysis on impact factors to test in what direction and what degree they affect Chinese agricultural competitiveness. Results show as follows,first,the reason of de-scending mainly lies in domestic factors rather than foreign competition;second,the CF index has exerted greatest influence in the descending comparing with other three factors. To be precisely,once the CAIP,CAF,AC and FC increase by one percent,the competitiveness of agriculture in China would accordingly decrease 0.070 7,1.306 6, 0.001 5 and 7.378 4 percent respectively.
