The profession of medical students who will be future medical workers,is for the disease prevention and health care, and play an important role in the social development and progress. Whether medical students can have a healthy ideal vo-cational personality or not, is related to physical and mental health of the people and the whole medical industry. From the start the connotation of professional personality of medical stu-dents,this article will explore the effect of volunteer service in shaping the ideal professional personality of medical students, and apply suggestions that how can make volunteer service in ef-fect to facilitate shaping the professional personality of medical students.
