地震的科普知识是公众关心的内容，为了更好地向公众普及地震科普知识，利用流媒体技术设计了基于流媒体技术的地震科普视频点播系统。主要介绍了地震科普视频点播系统的系统设计、系统实现的关键技术以及在地震行业中的应用。

Sci entific knowledge about earthquakes has become a public concerned content in recent years, in order to popularize the earthquake science knowledge among the public better, designed the earthquake science video on demand system which was based on the streaming media technology. This paper describes the earthquake science video on demand system design, system implementation of the key technologies as well as the applications in seismic industry.
