The structures and applications of the rotary bracket and pot tending machine were introduced . The theoretical calculation and research were carried out for the rotary bracket of pot tending machine with the finite element method . The distribution of stress and displacement for bracket were taken out , and ra-tionality of structures were evaluated and analysed acoording to the calculation results .
