At present, adjustable propeller shafting design of the high-power platform supply vessel (PSV) does not have a complete and systematic method. The adjustable propeller shafting layout method is introduced through the engineering sample. The method is used to determinine the layout of propeller shafting and the size and material of components according to the characteristics of the target ship, which can ensure the safe stable completion of the propulsion and maneuvering task under various operating conditions. And the normal operation of shafting is ensured at ship heeling 15o, rolling 22.5 o, trim 5 o, pitch 10 o and combined action. The method can provide a complete and feasible design method for CPP shafting of PSV.
