当前 OpenFlow 的部署依赖于单个控制器,这种方式存在诸如扩展性不足的严重缺陷。引入一种分布式基于事件的控制层,较好地实现了逻辑上集中、物理上分布的部署:除了保留网络集中控制的优势外,还提供了良好的可扩展性。通过被动同步各个 OpenFlow 控制器的网络级视图,将决策制定下放到各个独立的控制器中,不但缩短了控制层对数据层请求的响应时间,还可免疫网络分割以及组件故障。

Current deployments of OpenFlow relies on single controller,which suffers from lack of scalability. We introduce an event-based control plane that could be deployed physically distributed,accompanying the ad-vantage of scalability while keeping the network centralized controlled.Every controller of the network makes decision with its local Network-wide View which has been passively synchronized,so the responding time for requests from data plane is minimized,also the network is immune to component failure and network partitio-ning.
