The overhaul for the 3200 m3 BF that shut down in Angang due to the hearth trouble has been done. During the overhaul the furnace bottom, brick linings in hearth and the cooling stave are replaced. The stable starting-up of the BF is achieved based on taking such measures as formulating the detailed schedule for heating-up and starting-up, determining suitable process parameters for starting-up and adjusting real-time operations of the BF.
