科学研究和学科建设的中心地位在我国一流研究型医疗机构中得到普遍的确立，它们是研究型医疗机构的核心竞争力，也是其实现持续性发展的关键要素。国际合作与交流则是研究型医疗机构学科建设的重要推手。中山大学中山眼科中心高度重视国际学术合作与交流，积极培养国际化的团队，凝练学科研究方向，打造科技创新研究平台，使得其近两年来学科建设不断得以加强。本文通过介绍中山大学中山眼科中心开展国际学术合作与交流的经验，阐述了国际合作与交流助推医院学科建设的重大作用。

The role of science research and subject construction as the cord of competitive strength and criti -cal factor for sustainable development of research medical institutes , has been established in first-class research medi-cal institutions in China .International cooperation and exchanges is an important driver for the disciplinary construc -tion of research medical institutions .ZOC of Sun Yat-sen University has continued to strengthen disciplinary construc-tion for the past two years by attaching great importance to international academic cooperation and exchanges , actively cultivating the internationalized team , cultivating possible disciplines , and building the platform for science and tech-nology innovation .By introducing the experience of International academic cooperation and exchanges carried out by ZOC, this paper expounded the international cooperation and exchanges in boosting the discipline construction of the hospital.
