通过研读《黄帝内经》原文，探讨青春期多囊卵巢综合征（PCOS）的病因乃肾气未充、天癸不足为本，痰湿、肝郁为标。饮食不节可伤脾生湿，情志不畅导致肝郁化火。通过脉象“关脉弦实或弦滑”“尺脉沉涩”，进一步论证，PCOS的诊治当责之于肝、脾、肾三脏，且要辨明标本虚实。临床肾虚为主，又分两大类型：痰湿偏重型和郁火偏重型。治疗以调经为原则，温肾填精、疏肝健脾、化痰散结为主，标本兼顾。主张防重于治，控制饮食、适当运动是防治本病的重点。

Inthestudy of theoriginal text of The Yellow Emperor′s Classic of Internal Medicine,it has been explored that polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)in puberty is caused by kidney qi deficiency as the primary,phlegm damp and liver stagnation as the secondary in etiology.Improper diet damages the spleen and produces damp.Emotional injury leads to liver qi stagnation and fire transformation.Based on the pulse con-ditions,such as wiry pulse of excess type or wiry rolling pulse at Guan region,deep and hesitant pulse at Chi region,it has been further verified that PCOS diagnosis and treatment focus on the liver,spleen and kidney based on the primary,secondary,deficiency and excess.In clinic,kidney deficiency is the main syndrome, which is subdivided into phlegm damp dominance type and stagnation fire dominance type.In the treatment, the regulation of menstruation is the therapeutic principle,emphasizing on warming the kidney,filling up es-sence,soothing liver qi,strengthening the spleen,resolving the phlegm and eliminating the masses.The symp-toms and the root cause are considered coordinately.Additionally,prevention is the primary,and the diet con-trol and proper physical exercise are the keys on the prevention of the disease.
