China is developing its own engineering education accreditation system with goal to establish quality assurance system and promote international recognition for engineering education. To culture high-quality applied talents of modern food who meet requirement for regional economic development with engineering education accreditation system-oriented, thinking and practice of reforming on teaching contents and architecture of food science and engineering spe-cialty in Lanzhou University of Technology were introduced through following four aspects:standard and profile of engi-neering education accreditation system, curriculum structure adjustment, integrate and optimize construction of theory education system and practice education system.
