Compared to traditional methods, the method using SFA to detect volatile phenols in irrigation water can improve accuracy and precision, as well as greatly reduce the sample consumption, sparing manpower and material resources. In addition, it is more convenient and faster, and is able to meet the requirements of measurementing large amount of samples concurrently. Therefore, the method is worth popu-larizing and applying.
