介绍了用可编程序控制器（PLC）对M1432万能外圆磨床电气控制系统进行改造的一种方法。对系统的工艺流程和主要控制功能给与阐述，给出了控制系统硬件配置方案和主要软件控制程序。从现场应用情况表明，该控制系统可靠性高，操作更为简便，提高了效率。

A method of transforming to the M1432 universal cylindrical grinder by programmable controller (PLC) is introduced in this paper. The grinder’s process flow and its electrical control system’s main control function are elaborated, then PLC control system’s hardware configuration scheme and main software control program are given, providing the modified equipment’s com-mon faults and maintenance methods.Recent application on spots shows that this PLC controlling system has higher reliability, sim-pler operation and clearer efficiency.
