精神卫生问题现已成为国际社会普遍关注的公共卫生和社会问题。精神卫生工作者在为公众提供公共精神卫生服务的过程中，在遵守《精神卫生法》的基础上，还应遵循以下伦理原则：尊重的原则、保密的原则、平等的原则、人道的原则及知情同意的原则。

Mental health problem has become the public health and social problem which has gained universal concern of the international society. While providing the mental health services to the public,mental health workers should comply with not only the " Mental Health Law" but also the following ethical principles:respect,confidentiality,equality,humanism and informed consent.
