This paper conducted in-depth analysis of the training base construction mode for welding technology and automation specialty and the effect of training base construction on the abilities training of students and teaching staff construction, and elaborated the role of welding training base in the specialty construction. Training base is an important place to carry out the practice teaching for higher vocational education and improve students' practical ability, and is an important component of promoting the "Double Teachers" team building.
