云椒2号是以自交系078-2-3为母本，自交系268-2-S 为父本配制的一代杂种。属干鲜两用型辣椒品种，鲜食为主，中熟；果实长羊角形，果长15~18 cm，横径1.6 cm，单果质量15~20 g；青熟果绿色，老熟果深红色，坐果率高，持续挂果能力强，一般667 m2产量3500~4500 kg；抗病毒病及疫病，适宜在喜欢鲜椒或大果干椒类型的地区栽培。

Yunjiao No.2 is a new F1 hybrid developed by taking inbred lines 078-2-3 and 268-2-S as female and male parent respectively. Yunjiao No.2 is mid-maturing, which can be used as both fresh and dried hot pepper cultivar. Its fruit likes a long sheep-horn, 15-18 cm in length, 1.6 cm in diameter, with single fruit weight of 15-20 g. Yunjiao No.2 possesses high fruit-setting rate, and its yield is 3 500-4 500 kg/667 m2. It is resistant to virus disease and phytophthora blight, and Yunjiao No.2 is suitable to be cultivated in many areas where people like eating fresh and dried hot pepper.
