微小RNA(microRNA,miRNA)是一类新的内源性非编码小RNA,它通过转录后调节基因表达来参与许多重要的生物学过程,如细胞的增殖、分化、凋亡、应激反应等.某些miRNA在心脏或血管细胞中特异性表达,提示这些miRNA在心血管系统中发挥重要的调节作用,尤其是miRNA表达改变将有助于我们更好的了解心血管系统的病理生理过程,为心血管疾病治疗提供新的思路.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs), a novel class of endogenous small non-coding RNAs, play an im-portant role in biochemical processes by posttranscriptional regulation, such as cell proliferation, differentia-tion, apoptosis, and stress response. The identification of miRNAs expressed in specific cardiac and vascular cell types will lead to the discovery of important regulatory functions on cardiovascular system. Expression pro-files of miRNAs will allow greater understanding of cardiovascular pathophysiologies and developing novel thera-peutic strategies for cardiovascular diseases.
