Introduction was made to the auto-transformer(AT) substation of traction electric network and its power distribution system’s working principle. Combined with the characteristic of AT substation, this paper gave a set of power distribution design plan to use minitype wind power generating set as the backup power supply and analysis investigation was made to the control strategy of maximum power opera-tion of wind power generating set and the grid-connected control strategy. The quality and stability of power distribution in AT substation of traction electric network was improved.
