铧厂沟金矿床位于陕甘川金三角成矿区。金矿床主要赋存于中下泥盆统三河口群（D1-2sh）地层中，金矿（化）带严格受地层、韧性剪切带及蚀变带控制。金矿石类型以蚀变细碧岩型及蚀变碳酸盐岩型为主，研究其独特的成矿地质特征及控矿因素，建立该区的成矿与找矿模式，对指导下一步找矿方向有重要意义。
화엄구금광상위우협감천금삼각성광구。금광상주요부존우중하니분통삼하구군（D1-2sh）지층중，금광（화）대엄격수지층、인성전절대급식변대공제。금광석류형이식변세벽암형급식변탄산염암형위주，연구기독특적성광지질특정급공광인소，건립해구적성광여조광모식，대지도하일보조광방향유중요의의。
The Huachanggou gold deposit, located in Shanxi-Gansu-Sichuan“Gold Triangle”mineralization area, occurs in the Sanhekou Group of middle-lower Devonian(D1-2sh). The gold mineralization zone is strictly control ed by strata, ductile shear zone and alteration zone. The major types of gold ore are altered spilite and altered carbonate rock. It’s important for prospecting to study its unique ore-forming geological characteristics and ore-control ing factors, and to establish the metal ogenic model of the area.
