Hong(红)%{RED}conceptual domain%superordinatalization%mechanism
“红”本义为粉红，是｛红｝概念域的下位词。东汉至隋，随着使用频率的提高，“红”发生了上位化演变。唐五代时期，“红”取代了“赤”的强势上位词地位。基于“不过量准则”的语用推理和推导义的固化是“红”上位化的主要机制，在与表示程度、性状类语素构成“x＋类名”型复音词时具有绝对优势则是“红”取得强势上位词地位的突破口。

In the Qin and Han period,Hong(红)denoting pink was a hyponym of the{RED}concept domain.Hong su-perordinated with the use frequency increasing form the Eastern Han Dynasty to the Sui Dynasty and became the predomi-nant superordinate of{RED}concept domain in Tang and the Five Dynasties.The mechanism for superordinatalization of the Hong is pragmatic inference based on 'informativeness’and the assimilation of the inferring meaning as part of the lexical entry.And the pathway by which Hong became the predominant superordinate is that Hong had a absolute advan-tage when it constituted modifier-head polysyllabic words with the extent,character types of morphemes.
