Vaccine is an effective method to prevent and control diseases. Transgenic plant-derived oral vaccine is a focus of modern vaccine research and is very promising in application. This paper described the advantage, mechanism, production process, and clinical study of transgenic plant vaccine. Furthermore, the existing problems and solutions, and the prospect were provided.
