This article has analyzed the mechanism of curriculum linkage system between secondary and higher vocational education in Australia. It has also talked about the concept of competency-based curriculum design in linkage system between secondary and higher vocational courses. Through design of competency standard and curriculum based on ability combination, the course overlap will be effectively avoided, which could bring about the level differences of talent training in higher vocational education and secondary schools.
