江苏省十多年来水稻单产一直徘徊不前，其主要原因除缺乏广适的、增产潜力大的水稻新品种外，在栽培技术上，由于传统手栽、塑盘抛秧、机械栽插、直播等多种栽培方式并存，导致高产栽培配套技术应用不能到位，已成为进一步提升全省水稻单产的障碍。本文通过对手栽、塑盘抛秧、机械栽插、直播等多种栽培方式的试验研究，探讨淮北稻区水稻持续高产技术途径，解决该区稻麦周年生产季节矛盾突出，时常干旱缺水，农田基本建设脆弱，务农劳力匮乏等问题。
