在理论上，谦虚天然与“真”相冲突；在实践中，谦虚的“度”的很不好把握。我们应该以正视自己和正视他人来代替谦虚。谦虚以正视自己和他人为利益标杆，越接近这个标杆便含有越多的正视自己和他人的成分，便获得的利益越大。正视自己和正视他人规范在实践运作的过程中因为个人和社会都有容易高看自己的倾向会产生向谦虚方向偏转的现象。
