given in details .At the same time ,the scope of application and sensitivity are also discussed .As application examples ,a circle pan fixed by all around used for Principles and optical paths of ESPI (Electronic speckle pattern interferometry )used for measuring out -plane and in -plane displacements are measuring out -plane displacement and a metal -porcelain specimen is used for measuring in -plane displacement .It indicates that ESPI based on laser can be applied for measuring displacement and non -destructive measurement of hard materials .The experiment results can be given by interferometry patterns so that the displacement of object studied can be conveniently analyzed by qualitative and quantitative .
