靖江新港作业区位于福姜沙左汊北岸上、下弯道之间的顺直过渡段,由于六助港以上水下低边滩易于发育,成型边滩在涨落潮动力作用下切割下移,造成靖江沿岸河床地形变化总体呈冲淤相间的特点。针对近年来新港作业区前沿快速淤积的现状,采用河演分析方法及数学物理模型试验等手段,从码头布置、人工采砂、护滩工程等方面研究分析了新港作业区近期淤积的主要成因,以及港区水深变化趋势,同时提出了相应的对策建议。

The Xingang operation zone of Jingjiang Port is sited in the straight transition section between upper and lower chan-nel bends on the northern bank of left branch of Fujiang Shoal. Since the underwater low beach, upstream of Liuzhugang, is prone to expanding, the formed beaches are being cut and moving downstream under the dynamic action of ebb and flow, causing the overall topographical change along the bank of Jingjiang, i. e. , scouring and silting alternately. With the consideration of the quick sedimentation in the front of Xingang operation zone, the riverbed evolution analysis, numerical calculation and physical models are used to study the main cause of recent sedimentation in the zone from the aspects of berth layout, artificial sand-min-ing and beach protection. The variation trend of water depth in the port area is predicted and corresponding countermeasures are also proposed.
