Several common microcapsule flame retardant preparation theory and technologies were intro-duced. The recent progress of microcapsule flame retardant in domestic and abroad as wel as the application status in flame- retardant finishing of fabrics was summarized. At the same time the problems of microcap-sule flame retardant in textile finishing existed were analyzed, and the development trend and application pros-pect were also put forward.
