中国当代新诗的发展越来越呈现衰落之势。要想走出困境，必须古为今用，从我国古典诗歌的沃土中吸取艺术养分；必须对接“五四”新诗精神，从中吸取思想养分；必须洋为中用，辩证地吸取西方现代主义诗艺，使之与我们民族优秀的传统诗艺相互交融，创造出一种能够被普遍接受的诗歌精神和艺术风格。
中國噹代新詩的髮展越來越呈現衰落之勢。要想走齣睏境，必鬚古為今用，從我國古典詩歌的沃土中吸取藝術養分；必鬚對接“五四”新詩精神，從中吸取思想養分；必鬚洋為中用，辯證地吸取西方現代主義詩藝，使之與我們民族優秀的傳統詩藝相互交融，創造齣一種能夠被普遍接受的詩歌精神和藝術風格。
중국당대신시적발전월래월정현쇠락지세。요상주출곤경，필수고위금용，종아국고전시가적옥토중흡취예술양분；필수대접“오사”신시정신，종중흡취사상양분；필수양위중용，변증지흡취서방현대주의시예，사지여아문민족우수적전통시예상호교융，창조출일충능구피보편접수적시가정신화예술풍격。
The development of contemporary poetry in China is declining. To get out of the predicament, these measures are to be taken:to make the ancient poetry the serve the present-day needs;to absorb nutrients from the spirit of New Poetry in the May 4th Movement;to absorb western modern poetry for Chinese poetry, in?teracting with our excellent national traditional art, so as to create a universally accepted spirit of poetry and art style.
