Scoliosis%Chicken%Pinealectomy
目的 通过鸡松果体切除制作脊柱侧凸症的动物模型,并进行形态学观察.方法 随机将Broiler鸡60只分为两组,对照组20只和松果体切除组40只.松果体切除组于出生后3d行松果体切除.3周后拍摄前后位脊柱X线片,观察脊柱曲度的改变.将鸡脊柱周围的肌肉去掉,保留脊柱,用10%福马林固定,常规苏木素-伊红(HE)染色.结果 3周时,40只行松果体切除的鸡中有25只发生了侧凸,发生率为62.5%,Cobb角为11°~25°,平均18..侧凸主要累及T6、T7和T83个椎体.通过对鸡的大体标本观察,鸡存在8对肋骨和8个胸椎,但是只有第7胸椎与相邻椎体之间形成关节样间隙,其余椎体之间呈紧密联结.结论 鸡松果体切除能够制作出脊柱侧凸模型,第7胸椎与相邻椎体之间连接的结构特点有可能是鸡成为脊柱侧凸有效模型的因素之一.

Objective To build the scoliosis animal model by pinealectomized chickens and have the histological observation.Methods Sixty Broiler chickens were divided into 2 groups:the control group (n =20) and the pinealectomy group (n =40).At the age of 3 days after hatching,all the chickens in the pinealectomy groups were subjected to surgery.At the 3 weeks after hatching,the chickens were sacrificed with an overdose of pentobarbital sodium.Posteranterior radiographs of the spine were taken to detect spinal curvature,and their spines were immersed in 10% neutral phosphate-buffered formalin and have the hematoxylin and eosin (HE) staining.Results At the 3 weeks after hatching,Scoliosis (defined by a Cobb angle of more than 10°) had developed in 25 of 40 pinealectomized chickens (62.5%,average Cobb angle 18°).The chickens had eight ribs and eight thoracic vertebrae.The anatomic characteristics include no marked intervertebral discs between the third to sixth thoracic vertebrae and the eighth thoracic to the lumbosacral vertebrae,and only two intervertebral spaces between the sixth/seventh and seventh/eighth vertebrae can therefore be recognized as mobile segments.Conclusion The scoliosis animal model could be achieved by pinealectomized chickens.The structure of the seventh vertebrae may play an important role in this animal model.
