温病治宜宣。气机，祛邪外出、保存阴津为法，忌用苦寒伤阴之品，黄芩性味苦寒，但众多医家临证治疗温病常配伍黄芩。本文分析当代温病大家蒲辅周先生运用黄芩治疗麻疹、乙型脑炎、腺病毒肺炎、风温等温病四则病案，并从中归纳蒲辅周运用黄芩治疗温病的经验，得出黄芩虽为苦寒伤阴之品，临床只要辨证灵活用药，苦寒适时，可被运用于治疗多种温病，不可拘泥于温病容易伤阴之说。

The methods of curing the epidemic febrile diseases should be facilitating the Qi movement , dispelling exogenous pathogen and saving Yin liquid .It was prohibited to use the bitter cold medicine during treatment of the disease , while as one of the bitter cold medicine , scutellaria was widely used to treat epidemic febrile diseases .This paper analyzed Professor Pu Fu zhou`s experience in using the scutellariae to cure epidemic febrile diseases , such as the measles , Japanese encephalitis , adenovirus pneumonia and so on .The re-sult showed that although scutellaria was one of the bitter cold medicines , it was appropriate to be used to cure epidemic febrile diseases when the treatment plan was flexible and time was suitable .
