Stylistics is a comprehensive interdisciplinary subject which involves linguistics, literature, and psychology etc.. Em-ploying stylistic approaches to do analysis is an important practice in literary appreciation and criticism. Under the perspective of stylistics, this paper analyzes dialogues of Austen’s Pride and Prejudice at lexical level and syntactic level to show how the tone of humor and irony is reflected in the novel.
