This article briefly introduced the occurrence and damage of maize rough dwarf disease . It also made a systematic exposition to the technology including the artificial rearing of L aodel-p hax striatellus ,inoculation and identification of the disease .Eventually it discussed the applica-tion effect of the technical system in screening resistant germplasm resources and cultivating re-sistant varieties .
