高校普通音乐教育有自身的学科特点、教学目标和评价标准，因此相关教育管理部门和高校音乐教师在对其价值与功能的定位上，不宜过多参照专业音乐教育。只有准确认识高校音乐教育目标及其价值，并对其合理定位，才能逐步解决其发展中存在的诸多问题，并在普通高校“多学科”“基础性”教育语境下，实践以“学科综合”与“文化育人”为理念的音乐教育，开辟合乎自身发展规律的学科建设道路。

College general musical education has its own disciplinary characteristics, teaching targets and evaluating standards, and therefore, administrative departments of education and musical teachers in colleges and universities can not overtake its value and function with reference to professional musical education. This paper insists that the course of general musical education be well-positioned in the situation of multi-disciplinary and fundamental education in an effort to approach the cross-disciplinary and culture-based targets of musical instruction.
