According to the characteristics of the ships of electric propulsion with rudder propeller , the design method of the power station was analyzed .A method was proposed for the control system of propulsion working with the power management sys -tem to deal with the possible failure may lead the power station losing power .These measures are easy to realize , and able to im-prove this kind of ship maneuvering in rapid waterway reliability and safety .
