The formation mechanism of artificial hexagonal crystal diamond was introduced in this paper.This is a diffusionless phase transformation of hexagonal graphite to hexagonal diamond same as martensite transformation in steels.The formation principle of the diamond texture and intergrowth crystal were described.The character of hexagonal diamond and its application in surface science and techniques were described.
