Taking general course reform as the research background,and the advanced mathematics teachers' quality in higher vocational colleges in the west as the research object,the paper pointed out the quality which the common course teachers in current vocational colleges in west should have,and analyzed the common course teachers' quality status and the main causes of poor quality,and proposed the corresponding solution measures.
