The article fully affirms that the training of discipline leaders plays a key role in discipline development. Then, based on previous view and the characteristics of college of traditional Chinese Medicine, the article defines the connotation of discipline leaders and then points out that we should train the leaders’ intrinsic quality and create external environment in favor of their growth so as to promote discipline development.
