To solve the engineering quality problems of gravity wharf is always an important research subject in water transport engineering field. Based on one gravity wharf project at Bayuquan harbour of Yingkou Port,some new solutions for engineering quality problems are introduced as key points,which involve the installation of fenders positioning plate, the anti-corrosion treatment of embedded iron parts; the installation of dowel steel and the structural optimization of bolt-type suspension points through the improvement and innovation of construction technologies. The above achievements will provide references for similar wharf projects.
